For clients renovating an existing home, we offer a guiding hand through the countless design related decisions. Throughout these projects, we work closely with homeowners, builders, trades, and architects to bring our collaborative vision to life.
A renovation asks you to make several hundred decisions, most of them unfamiliar, many of them permanent, and all of them while you are still living in the house.
Our job is to make those decisions once, make them well, and hand your trades a set of selections that leaves nothing open to interpretation.
What This Includes
Existing Conditions
We measure the house as it is, not as the old drawings claim, and plan around what is actually behind the wall.
Reworked Plans
Layouts that open the rooms you use and quietly borrow from the ones you do not.
Kitchens & Baths
The two rooms that carry a renovation. Cabinetry, stone, tile, and plumbing detailed down to the drawer.
Selections Package
One document with every finish, model number, and quantity, so the trades order the right thing the first time.
Site Coordination
Regular site visits through construction, and answers within the day when a question comes up.
Furnishing the Result
The new rooms furnished so they read as part of the house rather than the part that was renovated.

Common Questions
- Can you design only the kitchen, or only a primary suite?
- Yes. Single room renovations are some of our favorite work, particularly kitchens, primary suites, and bars.
- Do we need our own contractor before we call you?
- Not at all. If you already have a builder we work alongside them. If you do not, we can introduce you to trades we have worked with across the Triangle.
