A green lacquered bar and an oxblood lounge, built for evenings rather than afternoons.
The clients wanted a room that felt like somewhere you would go, not somewhere you happened to be. That meant color with conviction and lighting kept low.
Deep green lacquer on the bar cabinetry, oxblood on the walls next door, equestrian toile behind a leather banquette, and plaid on everything that would take it. The whole floor reads as one continuous evening.
