The Process

How We Work

You always know which phase you are in and what happens next.

Design is a long conversation with a lot of moving parts. The structure below is what keeps it calm. Every project runs the same four phases, whatever its size.

    Phase One

    Getting to Know You

We start with a conversation and a walk through the space. By the end of this phase you have a proposal with a defined scope and a clear fee, and nothing is a surprise.

    • Inquiry
    • Consultation
    • Scope Evaluation
    • Proposal
    • Contract
    • Retainer

    Phase Two

    Designing the Whole Thing

We measure, plan, and source, then present the complete design in one sitting with real samples. You approve it as a whole rather than a decision at a time.

    • Measurements
    • Sourcing
    • Floor Plans
    • Design Presentation
    • Estimates
    • Deposit

    Phase Three

    Ordering and Building

Everything is ordered, tracked, and received into our warehouse. If there is construction, we are on site through it, answering questions as they come up.

    • Ordering
    • Lead Time Assessment
    • Budget Review
    • Construction Begins
    • Installation Period Continues
    • Orders Received

    Phase Four

    Installation and Farewell

Installation happens in one day. We style, walk the house with you, resolve anything outstanding, and hand you a binder with every specification in your home.

    • Furniture Installation
    • Client Styling
    • Deficiencies Walk Through
    • Resolution of Deficiencies
    • Presentation of Client Binder
    • Farewell

Phase one begins with a conversation.
