A family home refreshed room by room, from the mudroom lockers to the caramel swivels at the hearth.
The house worked. It just did not look like the family living in it. We went through it room by room rather than tearing into the plan.
Caramel swivels at the fireplace, a wood topped island in the kitchen, sage lockers in the mudroom, and two baths rebuilt around white oak vanities. Nothing precious, everything considered.
