A primary suite in warm plaster, walnut, and stone, drawn around an arched dressing alcove.
The brief here was restraint. Two bath suites and a dressing room, all of them asked to feel calm the moment the door closes, and none of them allowed to shout.
We built the rooms on three materials and stayed with them: honed stone in a soft checker, walnut with real depth of grain, and unlacquered brass that will keep changing. The arched alcove gives the vanity a room of its own without adding a wall.
